Have you ever been to a restaurant and if you sat close to a window you froze or if the entrance door opens up you can tell because of all the cold air that is being brought into the space? Not only is this uncomfortable for their  customer, it could be costing the restaurant owner an additional $300-400 a month on their energy cost. 

Running the cooling compressor when it doesn’t need to be running can add extra energy costs very quickly. Most rooftop units have an economizer that provides free cooling, but if they aren’t working properly this can add a lot of extra energy cost and it keeps fresh air from coming into the restaurant which can result in unwanted smells.
